Aamir Ali who is seen on the show, Naxalbari is very happy to see the kind of opportunities that actors are getting on the web space. He is getting a good response for his performance as the ruthless businessman, Ambar Keswani. Aamir Ali told BollywoodLife, “The role was outside my comfort zone. When I planned to enter the web space, it took time to convince people that I could do varied stuff. Producers could not see me in certain type of roles as I had mostly done romantic and comic characters. It took time for people to place trust in me. I did a lot of workshops. Naxalbari was shot during the pandemic. I have many fond memories given the scenario we faced and how we shot despite the huge challenges.” Also Read – Diwali 2020: Karishma Tanna, Mouni Roy, Aamir Ali steal the show at Aamna Sharif’s party
A lot of TV actors are now keen to do more of web. Will Aamir Ali also bid good-bye to TV? “See, never say never! A fab role can come, and I will take it up. But web shows have around ten episodes, which writers have taken months to write down and create characters. In TV, writers have to churn out stuff daily. Work-wise, web is more satisfying creatively. Television has its own charm though,” he opines. The actor shared screen space with Rajeev Khandelwal and Sreejita De on the show. They stayed in touch even after his move to Bollywood. “Yaar, we were such people who did not meet very often. However, when we met it was like we were chatting from where we left.
