Adam Woodyatt: EastEnders star furiously calls out ‘w****r’ driver after row in road

EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt has taken to social media to remind drivers of the Highway Code, after having an altercation earlier in the day. The actor, who plays Ian Beale in the long-running BBC soap, is a keen cyclist and spoke of an incident that happened while he was out on his bike.
Adam said a driver chased him down a road after he had called him a “w****r” for dangerously overtaking him on a narrow section of the road.
The 52-year-old shared quote from the Highway Code on his Instagram Story to reiterate that the driver was in the wrong.
After the conflict, he wrote: “If the car driver I gestured at and called a w****r when he overtook on a narrow lane, who then turned round and caught up with me further up the road so he could tell me how wrong I was to be out cycling on the road…
“In case you now come looking for me on social media, please read rules 162, 163 & 167 of the Highway Code.”
He then went on to share these for all to see.

“Going to try and do a ride everyday in January.”
