The new Amazon Prime web series, Tandav, starring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Kritika Kamra, Sunil Grover, Kumud Mishra, Sarah Jane Dias and Amyra Dastur among others, recently found itself in a soup for a couple of scenes and dialogues that certain sections have claimed to portray Hindu deities in negative light while also fanning a casteism. The makers and cast and crew of Tandav have now come forth with an unconditional apology, imploring their accusers to understand that they never had any intention to hurt anyone’s sentiments.
