Anees Bazmee rubbishes rumours of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 being postponed

Everyone was super excited when Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s sequel was announced. Kartik Aaryan headlines the project and his first look as the ghostbuster had assured the masses that we are in for some crazy fun. However due to the pandemic the film which kickstarted in 2019 still remains incomplete. And now while the news is that director Anees Bazmee (helming BB 2 this time) will resume the shoot, rumours also have it that the film shoot has been postponed further.

Anees Bazmee however clears the air with a leading daily and says there is no truth to it. The director tells the daily, “Within a week we will decide from which date the shoot will begin again. Postpone nahi hui. It is very natural that all films have been affected due to this calamity. Shooting under such conditions is very difficult. We have to erect sets, it is not a real location.” The director even explains that they simply can’t hurry and decide a date knowing the uncertain situations we’re facing these days and then further incur losses. The director is all set to make a plan to resume the shoot and complete the film.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 stars Kartik Aaryan in a lead role and co-stars Kiara Advani and Tabu. Rumours suggest that the hit song from the original Hare Ram, Hare Krishna will be used in this film and the song was synonymous with the movie. Reports also suggest that the Mere Dholna song which had Vidya Balan dance gracefully in the original might also be used in this one. We surely can’t wait for this horror-comedy.
