Anthony Joshua warned Kubrat Pulev may be

Anthony Joshua has been warned that Kubrat Pulev may be an “unstoppable” force in tonight’s fight at The SSE Arena in London. Joshua puts his IBF, WBO and IBO titles on the line against the mandatory challenger. Bulgarian Pulev has lost one of his 29 career fights, against Wladimir Klitschko in 2014.
Joshua and Pulev clashed at Friday’s weigh in, with the Brit coming in at 17st 2lbs, just ahead of his opponent at 17st 1lbs.
Former world cruiserweight champion Johnny Nelson believes Pulev will be extremely determined to upset the odds and beat Joshua.
And Nelson says there is the potential that Joshua won’t be able to handle him.
“All week I’ve seen no chinks in this man’s armour,” Nelson told Sky Sports.
“And I’m telling you now, he believes 100 per cent he walks away as world champion [on Saturday]. It will destroy him if he’s not world champion.
“So this is not an opponent that has come to make up the numbers, this guy comes with his heart and soul and he thinks it’s his father’s dying wish, that’s why his father had two boys.
“So when you get in the ring with somebody that has that kind of desire, that kind of want, that engine to go forward, they’re almost unstoppable.”
Speaking at Friday’s weigh in, Joshua described himself as a “killer” and a “psychopath” and warned Pulev he will be on top of his game.
“I’ve been destructive ever since I started boxing,” said Joshua.
“I’m ready for a 12-round fight if that’s the case. And if a shot lands and causes a lot of damage, I will be looking to take him out. That instinct doesn’t leave someone.
“Once a killer, always a killer. I sleep good.
“Certain people can’t sleep at night because they’re really tuned up for a fight, but I must be a good psychopath because I’m sleeping like a baby.
