Much like FIFA 22, upcoming multiplayer online-only shooter Battlefield 2042 has pre-orders bonuses for India. According to a listing spotted on Games The Shop, purchasing Battlefield 2042 early nets you an official t-shirt as well as early access to the Battlefield 2042 beta.

The Battlefield 2042 India price is Rs. 3,999 on PS4 and Xbox One while PS5 and Xbox Series X|S owners pay Rs. 4,499. At retail, the PC price for Battlefield 2042 is Rs. 2,999 (with a disc and Origin code if the listing on Games The Shop is to be believed). Outrage from the Battlefield India community saw EA drop the price of the game on PC. It was originally at Rs. 3,499.

That said, you could get Battlefield 2042 a bit cheaper when subscribed to EA Play Pro which has a Rs. 999 per month price or Rs. 6,499 per year that also grants you access to EA’s back catalogue of games as well as new and upcoming fare.

EA remains one of India’s most prominent and biggest publishers on the back of the FIFA and Need for Speed franchises that to this day dominate India console game sales. It’s one of the few titles that are listed for pre-order in India day and date with the rest of the world.

Nonetheless, the PC version of Battlefield 2042 seems to be offering the most value. There are next-gen features at a lower cost than even its last-gen console counterparts, and the inclusion of a map based on India’s Gujarat might push the more reluctant gamers in the country to take the plunge.

Battlefield 2042 releases on October 22 for PC (Steam and EA Play/Origin), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
