Battlegrounds Mobile India’s popularity continues to grow as Krafton has revealed today that the game has amassed 16 million daily active players. The company also revealed some interesting figures for the popular battle royale stating that it saw a peak of 2.4 million players concurrently in-game.

A new social media post by Krafton thanked its dedicated community, and teased more updates coming to the game in the future.

“We, at Krafton will continue to bring the ultimate battle royale experience for all of you. Stay tuned for exciting updates,” reads the statement on social media.

With the game’s launch party breaking viewership records, it’s no surprise to see the game holding such high numbers with its constant flurry of updates. At the time of writing, Krafton claims that the game has seen over 34 million user registrations. Taking these numbers into account, the recently leaked prize pool of Rs. 1 crore isn’t too far-fetched for its first India Series esports tournament.

Regarding its updates, Battlegrounds Mobile India is set to receive a ton of new additions in July, including new weapons, mission ignition mode, new vehicles and new in-game settings.

While the updates add a lot of new features, fans are still left wondering about a potential release on iOS devices, of which there was no mention in the new video. Meanwhile, Krafton has also started teasing its plans regarding esports for Battlegrounds Mobile India.
