Borussia Dortmund issue Erling Haaland update as Man Utd revise transfer blueprint

Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has dismissed suggestions that Erling Haaland could leave the club next summer, with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid linked with the striker. United have long been interested in Haaland, with the Red Devils missing out on signing him to Dortmund back in January.
Despite suggestions that Haaland could move on at the end of the season, Zorc believes the player will stay at Dortmund “for a long time”.
Speaking ahead of Dortmund’s game against Koln, Zorc said: “We plan for the long term with Erling. [Rumours] do not have to be dealt with at all. I will see him with us for a long time.
“You don’t have to ground him at all. He exudes such a positive dynamic. Why should we slow it down now?
“He is leading the way, that is very good for us. I do not believe in artificially slowing positive developments.”
