Candice Brown: Bake Off winner addresses filming disaster

“It’s putting a smile on people’s faces during a really difficult time at the moment.”

Candice added: “People have got a little bit more time in lockdown to make some biscuits, wrap them up, put a ribbon on them and drop them on their neighbours doorstep or their families.

“Just put a smile on people’s faces. And using the golden syrup in the caramel is going to help as well.”

Lyle’s are encouraging the nation to bake for friends, family, neighbours and colleagues.

Recipes include Cherry Bakewell Flapjacks and Laidback Blueberry Muffins.
