Carol Kirkwood: BBC Breakfast star issues warning after driving in risky conditions

Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood took to Twitter today after driving through some thick fog to get to work. The BBC star told her followers to “take good care” after seeing the bad driving conditions first hand this morning.

“Drove through some thick fog on the way into work this morning,” she wrote online, in view of her 197,000 Twitter followers.

”Take good care,” she thoughtfully added.

Many took to the comments section to share weather observations from around the country.

“Glad you got to your destination safely. Yesterday, the rain never stopped in Newcastle upon Tyne – fingers crossed for a break in it today,” one Twitter user wrote.

During her appearance on BBC Breakfast this morning, Carol looked lovely in a figure-hugging dress.

The black and yellow patterned number clung to her curves to showcase her trim physique as she delivered the weather forecast.

The 58-year-old warned of “dense fog”.

“It is cold outside and temperatures at the moment are widely at freezing or just below, there is some frost around and also some dense fog.”
