Carol Vorderman: Countdown star sparks frenzy with busty artwork commissioned for birthday

TV and radio star Carol Vorderman turns 60 on Christmas Eve. To celebrate her milestone birthday the Countdown legend has commissioned a piece of artwork to mark the occasion.
The painting shows a busty woman sitting on a chair in a pilot’s helmet.
She also wears a plunging blazer and a pair of sexy thigh-high silver boots.
The artwork was created by artist and former rugby union player Ed Williamson.
Carol took to social media today to share the picture with fans ahead of her big day.

Carol also shared the artwork on Twitter, in view of her 454,200 followers.
“I remember my first ‘I have control’ moment, scared but so exciting,” one follower remarked.
“I hope you are going to do a real life pose photo of that amazing painting! And surely it is a 21st birthday present?!?” a second user said.
“How things have changed? Doesn’t seem that long ago that the over 60s joined clubs where they all had blue rinses, camel car coats and went on weekly coach trips. These days 60 is the new 35,” another person added.
“Awwwww…..you’re right…..it’s what we want it to be…….plenty of loving and living left yet,” the birthday girl replied.
