Salman Khan and controversies go hand-in-hand. The superstar has now been summoned by the Chandigarh Police as a complaint of cheating has been filed against him, his sister Alvira Khan and 6 other people.

The complaint is made by a Manimajra-based businessman who has accused them of Rs 2 crore fraud. The complainant Arun Gupta has told the police that he had opened a Being Human Jewellery showroom in Manimajra. The complainant says that he was promised that Salman Khan would promote the showroom, which never happened. Arun Gupta has further stated that not only the superstar didn’t promote the showroom, he didn’t even come for the launch of it. It was promised to him that he will be inaugurating the showroom but instead of him, his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma was sent.

Arun Gupta spent Rs 2 crores on renovation of the shop and even buying the stock. However the man was shocked to know that the showroom from where he was asked to collect the stock has been shut since February 2020.

Hence, Arun Gupta demanded an FIR for cheating and impersonation against Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan, the Being Human Foundation CEO and officials of Style Quotient (licensee of Being Human Jewellery).
