Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed he will make changes tonight, with both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Billy Gilmour confirmed to start.

Asked about his hopes for this dead rubber clash, Lampard said: “Certainly no injuries, and some minutes for people who have not played as much as they would want in the squad, to show they deserve to play more.

“Gain a bit more match fitness. After Seville I certainly couldn’t complain. It was a fantastic performance from the team and the squad.

“So I just want to see that carried on. It’s not something that we can switch on and off, the idea that we must win and be successful.

“So I want to see the right attitude and how we approach the game, to be successful.”

Chelsea are already confirmed as Group E winners even if Sevilla beat Rennes, courtesy of their superior head-to-head record against the Spaniards.

Lampard added of Arrizabalaga: “Like I said about the group as a whole, it’s about attitude and how we approach the game.

“Of course Kepa’s situation is slightly different, because the goalkeepers have to be patient when they’re not starting games.

“And generally obviously with Edou’s form he’s been a very regular pick for me. But of course for this game it’s a game for Kepa, who’s training brilliantly well, acting brilliantly well.
