Coronation Street’s Lisa George unable to dress after injury sparks chronic pain ordeal

Coronation Street star Lisa George, 50, has been suffering from chronic pain for the past few months after a shoulder injury. Lisa, who plays Beth Sutherland in the hit ITV soap, revealed that she had got herself a personal fitness trainer but her exercise regime didn’t exactly go to plan.

The actress explained that she wanted to improve her upper body strength but it triggered a problem in her shoulder.

The Weatherfield star shared her torment after getting a frozen shoulder which left her unable to lift her arm.

Lisa said that it was her trainer that noticed she had been “moaning” about her arm when doing plank exercises and lifting weights.

The Coronation Street star explained the condition would keep her up at night due to the constant pain.

The ITV star admitted the pain has been constant and has forced her to stay up at night.

The news comes just months after Lisa revealed she was left half-blind in her right eye after haemorrhaging behind her optic nerve four years ago.

Recalling her ordeal, the actress believed it may have been a mini-stroke but, fortunately, this was not the case.

The Corrie star had previously taken part in Dancing On Ice back in February of last year and finished in fifth place.
