Dan Walker gives update on Louise Minchin after her BBC Breakfast absence sparks concern

A second fan commented: “Look after yourself Lou and get well soon… mend properly.. You’ve been sorely missed – you and Dan – you’ve no idea – for myself, you’re a tonic and but for you on some days the duvet and I wouldn’t part company until at least 9.15..”

Her BBC Breakfast co-star Dan also sent his support, as he asked if he would have to “carry her bags” from now on.

He commented: “Come on Arnie! This is where @louiseminchin has been for the last few weeks.

“Rest up partner… see you when you’re ready. Does this mean I have to carry your bags?”

Louise replied: “Deffo!”
