Elon Musk Jokes About Buying Coca-Cola After Twitter to Put Cocaine Back in It

Billionaire Elon Musk recently completed one of the biggest acquisitions of 2022, after buying Twitter for around $44 billion. However, it seems like, he doesn’t want to stop his spending spree just yet.

The Tesla CEO recently tweeted about his “plans” to purchase popular beverage corporation Coca-Cola to turn back the clock and add cocaine as one of its ingredients again.

The tweet has become viral on the Musk-owned social media platform, and at the time of writing, it has almost 3 million likes, and it seems like it won’t stop anytime soon.

Musk’s tweet pokes fun at Coca-Cola’s origin, as the drink was made using cocaine and caffeine, when it was first launched back in the late 1800s.

However, Musk could also be foreshadowing another business move, that might involve him claiming a stake of the massive beverage corporation. Currently, the company has a whopping market cap of $289 billion, which makes it one of the top 30 biggest companies in the world, in terms of market share.

Musk bought Twitter for almost a quarter of the price. However, that doesn’t prevent him from making a play at the world’s largest beverage company, which produces some of the most well-known drinks around the world.

Along with that, Musk has also given indication about many of his purchases, including Twitter, as he once asked his fans about potentially developing another social media platform, where users can promote freedom of speech before he eventually announced his purchase of Twitter shares.

While Musk might be thinking about having a go at Coca-Cola, it’s very (and I mean, quite literally a lot) unlikely that he could ever force the company to introduce cocaine to the ingredients list again, as it could easily lead to his arrest in all parts of the world.
