England's Mason Mount fires Denmark semi-final warning shot - 'You're in the lion’s den'

England’s Mason Mount has roared a warning to any Denmark players taking comfort from their 1-0 win at an empty Wembley Stadium earlier this season: welcome to the Lions’ Den!
Last month the government announced that the capacity for the semi-final would rise to 60,000 in the European Championship semi-finals on Wednesday – 20,000 more than cheered England on to success just six days ago.
So it will be a very different environment to the one the Denmark players experienced in the height of lockdown in September when Harry Maguire’s early red card contributed to a 1-0 away win in front of banks of empty seating.
“We played them not too long ago, we know they’re a very good team, very passionate and it’s going to be a big, big test,” Chelsea midfielder Mount said.
“We have to be ready for the battle. That’s what we have to do now.
