Excellent news for savers as Coventry Building Society opens accounts with ‘good returns

Daniel McDonald, senior savings manager at Coventry Building Society, commented on the accounts.

He said: “Every poppy counts more than ever this year and Poppy amount savers will be supporting such a worthwhile cause which provides life-long support to those in the Armed Forces community.

“For savers wanting to get a good return for their money and also make a difference the Poppy accounts are a fantastic option.”

In both accounts, the building society has said it will make a donation of the equivalent of 0.15 percent of total balances as of December 31, 2020, to the RBL.

The RBL was founded to provide financial, social and emotional support to members of the Armed Forces and their families.
