POCO F3 GT India launch is confirmed to happen by Q3 2021 and will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The handset had recently received BIS certification, suggesting the launch is inching close. Now, 91mobiles in association with tipster Yogesh has learned that the POCO F3 GT India launch will happen in early August. While the exact POCO F3 GT launch date in India is not known, we are told that the phone will arrive in the first ten days of August. This means we are just a month away from the launch and POCO should start officially teasing the launch on its social media handles soon. POCO F3 GT is speculated to be a rebrand of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.

POCO F3 GT specifications (expected)

POCO F3 GT specifications should be similar to the Redmi K40 Enhanced Edition. To recall, the Redmi phone features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It ships with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12 custom skin and packs a 5,065mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support.


As for the cameras, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition has a triple camera setup at the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging and data transfer.

POCO F3 GT price in India (expected)

Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition price is RMB 1,999 (approx. Rs 23,000) for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model, RMB 2,199 (approx. Rs 25,300) for the 8GB/128GB variant, and goes up to RMB 2,699 (approx. Rs 31,000) for the 12GB/256GB option. We can expect the POCO F3 GT India prices to be along similar lines.
