F1 horror crash at Bahrain Grand Prix as Romain Grosjean's Haas erupts into flames

The Bahrain Grand Prix had to be red-flagged on the first lap after Romain Grosjean’s Haas burst into huge flames in worrying-looking scenes. Sky Sports cameras thankfully soon showed a healthy Grosjean in conversation with medics in the medical car.
Race replays showed Grosjean moving across Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat and crashing straight into the barriers, completely splitting the car in half.
Grosjean was helped out of the flaming wreckage by medical delegates.
Sky Sports F1 expert Martin Brundle reacted: “That’s a miracle. It pierced the barriers like a can opener.
“They’re constantly trying to improve the structural stability of the chassis and that’s just saved his life. That is extraordinary.”
