Five decades of Iconic celebrity images by late Terry O'Neill under hammer at Sotheby's

The collection, from the late Terry O’Neill’s personal archive, is under the hammer at Sotheby’s in conjunction with art dealer Iconic Images.
Pictures include Audrey Hepburn by a pool in 1966; David Bowie in LA in 1974; Brigitte Bardot in Spain in 1971; Amy Winehouse at a concert in Hyde Park in 2008; Frank Sinatra with his minders and stand-in for The Lady in Cement in 1968; and Sammy Davis Jr at a London club in 1961.
Londoner Terry said before his death a year ago, aged 81: “The perfectionist in me always left me thinking I could have taken a better shot. But now when I look at [the] photos…I think: ‘Yeah, I did all right.’”
●The images are being auctioned via Sothebys.com until November 27.
