Genshin Impact Version 2.0 To Add Cross-Save For All Platforms With Switch Support On Its Way
Genshin Impact is finally getting cross-save support between PC, mobile and PlayStation consoles in an upcoming update. The news was leaked by Genshin report on twitter, stating that the cross-save functionality will also be coming for the Nintendo Switch version when it launches, along with support for HoYoLAB on consoles.

While the addition of cross-save will come as good news to many, there is a small catch to it. As is expected, exclusive items such as the Wings of Descension on PlayStation will not be available for use on other platforms with the functionality. But hey, at least now you can play the game on all of your devices without having to worry about starting over.
Genshin Impact launched last year with cross-progression between PC and mobile versions. Developer miHoYo has announced a new version for the Nintendo Switch is coming, but there’s not word yet on a potential version for Xbox consoles. As the game’s first anniversary draws near, miHoYo is planning a bunch of new surprises, some of which have been leaked already. Of course, the hype for the game doesn’t seem to slow down as it has been the most-tweeted-about game this year, and cross-save with PlayStation and Switch versions is only expected to increase its popularity.
