Rockstar Games has revealed that the next-gen version of GTA V will get special upgrades on “select vehicles” with new speed improvements and more in GTA Online.

Not much is known about the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of GTA V, although it’s nice to see Rockstar Games revealing more details slowly as its holiday 2021 release approaches. The news about vehicles getting speed improvements can of course be attributed to the fact that the new consoles have super fast SSDs, but it’s also a reassurance that GTA Online’s current updates will make an appearance in the new version.

GTA Online recently got a new update in the form of “Los Santos Tuners” which brought new missions, races and a new social gathering spot called LS Car Meet.

The next-gen version of GTA V will release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 11, 2021.
