Harry Maguire and Man Utd stars slammed as damning verdict on Old Trafford boardroom given
Manchester United players need to play like dictators from now on, because they have no leaders in their squad or anywhere throughout the club. That’s the belief of Simon Jordan.
United are currently in the middle of a slump after making their worst home start to a league season since 1972.
The Red Devils were beaten 1-0 by Arsenal on Sunday in a defeat which left them 15th in the Premier League table.
Wins in the Champions League over Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig have lessened the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with his players facing hefty criticism in the aftermath.
Former United midfielder Roy Keane blasted the side on Sky Sports and tore into club captain Harry Maguire for his leadership.

“What Roy [Keane] is calling out is that when the going gets tough, who stands up? Who leads? Both in performance terms, vocal terms, example terms, every aspect of what you’d define a leader to be.
“Because of the times we live in, leadership is very different to how it once was.
“If you’re a leader in certain respects, you’re now a dictator or a bully, or you’re overly-aggressive.
“But in fact those characteristics of demanding respect, commanding respect, dragging your colleagues with you whether they want to or not, they’re part and parcel of being a leader.
“Roy Keane is right to call out the lack of leadership.
“Harry Maguire’s interpretation of leadership, he gives no examples of it.
“He gives no blueprint. Who are these leaders in the dressing room? I’m not seeing it, we damned well didn’t see it against Tottenham, we haven’t seen it many times this season, we haven’t seen it for 18 months, I don’t think we’re seeing it in their dugout, we’re not seeing it in their boardroom.
“So which part of Manchester United are we saying is infused with leaders?”
