Indian audio platform aawaz.com launches first home-grown digital live audio platform

India’s largest spoken-word audio and podcast network
aawaz.com has entered in the live audio space with the launch of #aawazLive.

The real-time, live audio chat feature will be available on the
aawaz.com platform, offering professionally generated content. The company has partnered with FM stations, publishers, news & media companies to bring high quality, live and interactive audio experience to its growing listener base.

“We reimagined how audio beyond music can be in India, and now taking a nimble but promising step to transform how live audio can be, we like to think of it as a digital transformation of the FM radio,” said Sreeraman Thiagarajan, co-founder & CEO,
aawaz.com.

Launched in January 2019 by Mumbai based Agrahyah Technologies,
aawaz.com offers a repository of professionally generated, original audio content in Hindi, Marathi, Indian English, and Urdu.

To mark the launch of #aawazLive, the platform is bringing its own popular comedy characters ‘Lallan and Shukla’ live on May 14th at 5 pm to interact with their fan base. Listeners can ask questions, share comments, and express themselves with emojis during the live audio show.

Among FM players, BIG FM will have a live radio feed on #aawazLive, also, HT Media will bring their most popular RJs for live chat and game shows later this month.

#aawazLive feature will be available for free, without ads, on aawaz.live website and aawaz mobile apps on Android and IOS.

Listeners can express their excitement through emojis, comment live during a show, and even raise their hands to interact live with RJs/hosts and interact with all listeners.
