The chef later added: “When you meet parents who care about food, like my girlfriend’s family, who are Sicilian, you eat with them and it’s just natural.
“She cooks naturally and hasn’t been formally taught. I think that where the British are going.”
Jack’s passion for food is also shared by his father, Rick, who is well known on-screen as well as being a successful restaurateur.
