James Martin compares chef to

James Martin, 48, regularly entertains guests with his personalised cuisines and delicacies. The ITV favourite was recently joined by chef James Tanner, 44, where the former cheekily took aim at himself and the culinary cook.

James sat on the sidelines of his kitchen as the guest chef prepared a dish for the TV host.

As the pair spoke openly about all things food, it didn’t take long for the ITV favourite to take a cheeky swipe.

James cheekily joked: “Me and you stood together, if we were any closer we would look like a before and after advert for weight watchers wouldn’t we?”

Following the chef’s jibe, the crew backstage could be heard chuckling at the cheeky swipe.

“Though I did get a bit of shock recently,” James added to Prima.

He went on: “My eyesight is starting to go, so I bought a bigger TV for my bedroom, 85 inches big, and I accidentally caught myself on my Saturday morning show.

“I looked at myself and thought, ‘Jesus, I look massive! Oh… I am massive!'”

James recently explained he was inspired to lose a few pounds after getting criticism online.
