Good Morning Britain anchor Kate Garraway recently shared a video clip of her reaction after England beat Denmark in the tense Euro 2020 semi-final. As Kate celebrated the historic victory, her son Billy, 11, was overjoyed and accidentally ran into a wall.

Now, the broadcaster appeared to be overjoyed as she made her way to work earlier today.

Kate, 54, presents a radio show on Smooth FM, based in London’s Leicester Square and she looked sensational as she walked through the capital.

Going about her day, the journalist wrote a Devil Wears Prada T-shirt, showing Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly.

She opted to wear a pair of blue jeans to complete her look while dragging a black suitcase along behind her.

Kate’s luscious caramel locks were neatly straightened with her bangs appearing from underneath her England-inspired wig.

Her hair was neatly tucked away as the presenter wore the wig, resembling St George’s flag, which is also used in England football games.

Kate put on a brave face after she shared an update on her husband Derek Draper’s condition following his coronavirus diagnosis.

Speaking to Alastair Campbell, Kate said: “He’s very up and down, we’re certainly not a long way out of the woods.”

Discussing why Derek was discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home, she explained: “Not because he was better, no. But being home has meant we’ve seen some things improve.

“Definitely having the family around, having the children around has provided stimulation and I think the problem is you latch on to the positives, which is good because you have to, but there’s absolutely no doubt that there’s huge challenges ahead.”

Kate’s husband contracted coronavirus in March 2020 and was subsequently admitted to hospital before being placed in a medically induced coma – he later went on to become the UK’s longest hospital admitted patient to have contracted the virus and requires round the clock care.
