Katie Hopkins recently jetted to Australia but came under fire when the television personality claimed to breach the country’s strict lockdown rules. Now, production bosses on Big Brother have revealed she will not be taking part on the programme.

In a statement, they said: “Seven Network and Endemol Shine Australia confirm that Katie Hopkins is not part of Big Brother VIP.

“Seven and Endemol Shine strongly condemn her irresponsible and reckless comments in hotel quarantine.”

It comes after Katie released a video to her YouTube channel, during which she informed her followers that we are “living through the greatest hoax in human history”.

Speaking about being allowed into Australia, Katie added: “I think it’s bulls**t. I think it’s bulls**t that I can be here and you can’t.

“I think it’s bulls**t that families who need to visit relatives here, whether they’re dying or not… it’s bulls**t that I’m here, and you can’t be.”

The broadcaster allegedly told her followers that she wants it to be “very clear” that her entry into Aus was due to her career as a “gobby mouth”.
