Kelvin Fletcher: Strictly winner says

Ex Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher took to social media last night to reflect on the strange and unprecedented year, which followed his triumphant Strictly Come Dancing win in December 2019. The actor, who won the glitterball trophy just before Christmas, shared a post that looked forward to the end of 2020, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Kelvin, 36, who was a last minute participant in the BBC ballroom dancing competition replacing injured Jamie Laing, could never have predicted what would happen shortly after.
Within four months of coming first place with professional dancer Oti Mabuse, the country was in lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Work was cancelled for most actors and those in the arts, as filming and TV production ground to a halt.
“I reckon we put the Christmas tree up now and call it a f**kin year boys,”(sic) the former soap star’s most recent Instagram offering read.
