Kirstie Allsopp hits back amid claims she’s ‘supporting segregation’ by using NHS app
Location, Location, Location presenter Kirstie Allsopp has hit back at a social media user after they claimed that she is “supporting segregation”. The TV star, 50, took to Twitter to reveal that she was experiencing difficulty using the NHS app at restaurants in Switzerland, when one unhappy person made the claim.
In view of her 424,100 followers, the Relocation, Relocation star relayed the troubles she was experiencing with the app while abroad.
She wrote this morning: “In Switzerland and finding my @NHSuk Covid App does not work for access to restaurants (totally works for getting into [the country]).
“Have laminated my vaccine certificate and after a little discussion it’s all OK, but our Government have to sort this out,” she added.
However, a Twitter account called BrowseMode quickly accused the TV presenter of “supporting segregation”.
They replied: “By using the app you are supporting use of the app, the segregation of the people and the unjust and unscientific decline of society?!” (sic)

Kirstie’s comments come a month after she claimed that there is a divide between people who want their freedom back and those who want to stay in lockdown, amid the coronavirus pandemic in Britain.
The Channel 4 star claims the “bitter” split is worse than the Brexit divide.
“We can see it all around us – the colleagues who refuse to return to the office; the older people still terrified to leave the bottom of their drive; the clubs, choirs and sewing circles that have collapsed because no one dares take the risk of meeting human beings,” she wrote in her column for the Mail on Sunday.
She went on to say: “A dangerous division is emerging – between those of us who want our freedoms back as soon as possible and those who believe in a new, more regulated life with spells of home imprisonment whenever our medical scientists become concerned.

“Which is often,” she added.
Kirstie went on to say the split was far worse than any she’d seen in recent years.
Elsewhere, Kirstie branded former Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson a “legend” for urging people to get vaccinated.
The Clarkson’s Farm star had previously taken to Twitter after his comments in a recent interview landed him in hot water.
