Liverpool eye Tottenham transfer target as Virgil van Dijk replacement with January plan

The Inter star has only played twice in Serie A for Antonio Conte’s side having tested positive for coronavirus.

ESPN claims Liverpool have Skriniar on their list of targets for the summer, but Spurs remain interested despite signing Rodon.

The report suggests that if Spurs were to make a move, it would more than likely be next summer rather than in a few weeks’ time in January.

And that could play right into Liverpool’s hands, with Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards tipped to sign a new centre-back at the earliest opportunity.
