Lucky Ali's impromptu performance of his chartbuster, 'O Sanam', in Goa, goes VIRAL — watch video | Bollywood Life

Lucky Ali may not be a regular on the singing scene these days be it as a background singer for films or recording for singles or even dishing out tunes on the indie circuit. But that golden, velvety voice, capable of transporting listeners instantly to a paradise of melody, remains the same, and we fortunately have been treated to another reminder of why Lucky Ali is sorely being missed from the musical scene in the country. The iconic singer is currently in Goa, and while there, he treated several onlookers to an impromptu performance of his evergreen track, O Sanam, that, too, unplugged. And you need to watch it to know how good Lucky Ali still is — a gifted singer who doesn’t need the aid of a recording studio or orchestra or even electronic instruments. Thankfully, someone recorded the video of Lucky Ali singing the song while strumming a traditional guitar,, surrounded by people, and it’s gone viral on social media, like it deservedly should. Veteran actress Nafisa Ali has shared the video on her official Twitten handle, writing: “Lucky Ali at Arambol in North Goa after listening to the musical evening was requested for a song and he sang impromptu for all present . Earlier, Lucky Ali had opened up to Hindustan Times about the genesis of O Sanam, where he had said, “(O Sanam was)a result of the process of life — it took a while to become what it is. It may have come to be known as a song about heartbreak, but it’s actually a happy song. I wanted every listener to take away their own interpretation when they listened to the song for the first time.” Also Read – Lucky Ali is mentoring his daughter in singing and we can’t stop listening to her – watch video
