Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer informed of Erling Haaland mistake by Mino Raiola

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been scrutinised by Mino Riola for comparing Erling Braut Haaland to Romelu Lukaku. The super-agent has attempted to ignite yet another feud with the Manchester United boss, this time over his 20-year-old client Haaland, who remains on the club’s radar.

Solskjaer has been a key figure in Haaland’s development and helped him establish himself in the Molde first team during their time together in Norway.

A year ago, the United boss flew to Salzburg for talks with the player and his entourage about a potential move to Old Trafford.

Haaland gave himself some breathing space to decide his future after also visiting RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund.

He eventually chose Dortmund, leaving United and Solskjaer red-faced despite claims they walked away from the table due to the agent fees involved in the deal.

Raiola is referencing a comment from Solskjaer back in September 2019, when he said: “He can become a top striker for sure. He reminds me of the type of striker Lukaku is.”

It’s clear that Raiola is on a one-man mission to cause a stir at Old Trafford, ahead of United’s biggest game of the season against RB Leipzig.

They must avoid defeat to the Bundesliga club in Germany to progress to the Champions League knockout stages.

Raiola has also claimed Pogba has no future at United and urged the club to sell this January.

In the extensive interview with Tuttosport, Raiola continued to shed further light on Haaland, who appears destined to eventually move on from Borussia Dortmund.

He added: “Haaland is like a painting, he is like Munch’s Scream because he causes fear in the defenders.
