Man Utd star Donny van de Beek on Bruno Fernandes relationship and talks current role
Manchester United star Donny van de Beek has admitted he enjoys playing alongside Bruno Fernandes. The Portugal international has been in terrific form ever since his January arrival from Sporting Lisbon. And he enters Wednesday’s Champions League clash with PSG on a run of six goals from his last four matches.
Van de Beek has had to be patient at United ever since joining from Ajax for £40million back in the summer transfer window.
But the 23-year-old is starting to prove his worth at Old Trafford, recently shining in matches against the likes of Istanbul Basaksehir and Southampton.
Van de Beek has struck up a good relationship with Fernandes on the field and, speaking ahead of the PSG game, has admitted he enjoys playing alongside the 26-year-old.
And he’s also insisted he’s happy with his current role in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
