Man Utd team news: Expected 4-3-3 line up vs West Ham as Marcus Rashford injury call made

Marcus Rashford is expected to be fit for Manchester United’s trip to West Ham. The Red Devils are looking to bounce back from Wednesday night’s 3-1 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford when they visit the London Stadium.

There have been fears over the fitness of Rashford heading into the contest given there is such a quick turnaround.

He has been carrying a shoulder problem recently and agitated the injury against PSG.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is quietly confident he will have his forward fit for the clash against the Hammers.

He said on Friday: “Marcus has been training this morning, not fully, but he’s joined in with the group.

Telles is looking to make a statement in the absence of Shaw, who is nearing a return.

In midfield, Donny van de Beek is likely to return to the starting XI after being dropped against PSG.

The Dutchman has had to be patient for opportunities but now looks to be part of Solskjaer’s first-choice midfield.

Scott McTominay should also keep his place ahead of Fred, who was sent off in the Champions League.

Completing the midfield is Bruno Fernandes, who remains undroppable based on current form.

Anthony Martial can perhaps count himself lucky to keep his place in the team after a horror show against PSG.

He spurned a glorious chance to score and looked short of confidence throughout proceedings, but he should start out wide.
