The 2020 blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo is all set for a remake in Hindi cinema. The film is a huge hit and is known for its intense family drama and Allu Arjun’s acting chops. The movie is all set for its Hindi remake with Kartik Aaryan in a lead role and now we hear that the makers have found someone to play his mother.

Allu Arjun’s mother’s character plays an important role in the original. While Tabu played the mother’s role in the original, we now hear that Manisha Koirala is going to be roped in for the same in the Hindi remake. According to reports in a daily, Ekta Kapoor who’s remaking the film and Rohit Dhawan who’s directing it, first decided to retain Tabu for the role. However, Tabu and Kartik Aaryan have just teamed up for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and they didn’t want the pairing to be repeated so soon. To add freshness the team then decided on Manisha Koirala and apparently the actress has said yes to it. Now this sounds like an interesting casting decision.

Speaking about the remake, while none of the actors have made anything official, Kartik Aaryan is surely the face of the film. Joining him is his Luka Chuppi co-star Kriti Sanon and the two might team up for this one. Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo is also known for its music and the hit song Butta Bomma. Kartik Aaryan recently posted a video where he shared his rendition to the number and people went crazy about it.
