Mike Tyson faces Roy Jones Jr will face-off in an exhibition match in Los Angeles. Both fighters are coming out of retirement and are now aged 54 and 51 respectively.

Tyson, who will enter the ring for the first time in 15 years, says he had a “lightbulb” moment when considering the fight.

“I have been training,” Tyson said during his press conference.

“Someone gave me a proposition to come fight.

“I believe it was Bob Sapp and at some point I said, ‘Hey forget that, I don’t want to fight anybody’.

The exact start time of the bout will depend on how the undercard unfolds.

Live coverage in the UK will be shown on BT Sport Box Office.

Fans can book the event £19.95, with coverage beginning at midnight.

There was also some confusion surrounding the rules for the exhibition match.

It was thought Tyson and Jones Jr would not be allowed to knock each other out and that there would be no judges, however, Triller co-owner Ryan Kavanaugh has since confirmed the rules.

“Know there have been some false rumors swirling, so to be crystal clear–The WBC is scoring the fight,” said Kavanaugh.

“There could be a knockout and there will be one winner. Anyone who says there is going to be no judging or no winner either does not understand the rules or has their own agenda. Unquestionably. 100 percent.

“DraftKings is the betting partner and is taking bets on the fight in New Jersey, New Hampshire and Illinois.
