Mikel Arteta condemns Granit Xhaka as Arsenal match unwanted record with Burnley loss

“In my opinion it is too much willingness to do well, to compete to do everything.

“We took it to the wrong side of it, when you step over the line you will get punished.”

After a sluggish first half, Arsenal started the second on top until the departure of Xhaka.

And Arteta says his side passed up a great opportunity to end their winless run.

“We threw it away, we were in control of the game,” he said.
