Odeon discount: Get tickets for Free Guy, The Suicide Squad and more with massive savings

This month is great for cinema fans. Last week James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad was released to critical acclaim; rebooting the series from the previous 2016 movie. The film follows the titular supervillain squad who are tasked with taking down a dangerously intelligent evildoer named The Thinker who is aiming for worldwide domination. If antiheroes don’t tickle your fancy, tomorrow (Friday, August 13) marks the release date of Ryan Reynolds’ latest comedy adventure: Free Guy; a story of a video game character who figures out the reality he knows isn’t all it seems.

THE DEAL

Odeon and Groupon are now offering cinema fans an incredible deal that will allow film buffs to get heavily discounted tickets.

By going to the Groupon website, movie lovers can purchase either a pair of tickets or five tickets at a discounted price.

Two tickets on the Odeon website are currently £8.50 each, coming to £17 – and that’s without the £1.90 booking fee.

Groupon’s deal allows viewers to grab two tickets for £11 without a booking fee.

All tickets come in the form of online vouchers that can not be used in-store – book here to avoid missing out.

What’s more, Groupon’s Odeon discount also comes in batches of five, making the savings even larger.

While five tickets at £8.50 each come to £42.50 on the Odeon website, the booking fee of £4.75 brings the price up to almost £50 overall.

Groupon’s five ticket deal save a bunch of cash for filmgoers who can claim the same number of tickets for £25 – that’s almost half price compared to the full price.

If viewers want to get a little luxurious with their viewing, Groupon has that covered as well – book tickets here.

The discount company are also offering the same two ticket and five ticket deals for Odeon Luxe screens, priced at £15 and £35 respectively.

These screenings add a greater level of comfort and enjoyment to any movie, with “three times the standard legroom and more personal space”.

Film fans must act fast if they want to claim this incredible deal, however.

While there are no film restrictions for the ticket deal, there is a time limit.

Groupon’s Odeon deal runs until September 14, 2021.

This means tickets bought must be used before the expiry date, otherwise, they will become invalid.

What’s more, the ticket vouchers bought from Groupon can not be used for family tickets, 3D films, IMAX films, iSENSE, Gallery, Premier seats, D-box seats, love seats, club seats, super luxury seats or any other premium-priced seat.

There are a massive amount of cinemas that the tickets are available on, however.
