OnePlus Nord 2 5G to be launched in India on July 22 – Smartprix


OnePlus’s is in the news lately for more than a few reasons. One of which is the oncoming launch of Nord 2. Just yesterday, the company announced that Nord 2 will get a customized AI-focused MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset, and today it has revealed the launch in India to be on July 22. The company as well as its chief has released a post on their respective official Twitter handles for the same.

OnePlus’s CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in India and Europe on July 22 at 7:30 PM (IST). He said they are paying attention to user feedback and accordingly improving user experience on OnePlus Nord 2.


Compared to the first OnePlus Nord, OnePlus Nord 2 5G will see significant changes. The company is using the latest AI-focused Dimensity 1200-AI chipsets in this smartphone. In addition, the smartphone is speculated to come with a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, triple rear camera setup that will include a 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
