Phillip Schofield and colleagues prank called teen after he embarrassed co-star on air
This Morning host Phillip Schofield and his former colleagues had their “gentle revenge” when a teenage viewer called into a live phone-in and swore, when he was presenting a national television show for children. The presenter and his Going Live! co-star Sarah Greene were both taken back by the foul-mouthed incident, which happened during an interview with pop ground 5 Star.
“Do you have a question for 5 Star?” Sarah had asked the caller.
To which Eliot, who is said to have been about 16, replied: “Yes, I’d like to ask them why they’re so f***ing c**p.”
Referring to the youngster’s pet dog Tammy, the quick-witted presenter calmly replied: “Right, I’m sure Tammy would have made a lot more sense. Let’s move on to line three. Do you have a sensible question?”
