Within roughly 10 minutes of going live, the PS5 July 2021 restocks in India have already sold out. This should come as no surprise given that the PS5 was in high demand during recent restocks as well. Though now, it seems to have been available for a longer window versus the near instantaneous sell outs in the past. Interestingly, Amazon India listed an availability date of July 22, 2021 which would suggest deliveries may be faster this time around as well.

Can You Still Buy a PS5 in India?

A few retailers tend to hold back a few stocks to make available on their storefronts later on. This happens as not all of them have complete clarity of their stock allocation from Sony. In such situations we’d recommend using a Twitter bot to scope out any last moment listings.

Aside from that, your best bet would be to wait for the next round of PS5 restocks. Considering the frequency of these restocks in more recent times, however, we wouldn’t be too surprised if another slate of restocks gets announced soon enough. Keep in mind that you could buy one from the grey/parallel market but you’ll be paying more and won’t get any warranty.

Best And Worst Retailers for PS5 Pre-Orders

Over the course of the year, how a store has managed to handle its PS5 restocks on a regular basis has given us a good idea about which retailers offer a hassle-free experience, and which retailers should be avoided.

While retailers like Amazon and Croma have largely avoided too much drama (outside of one case of data being leaked to scalpers by a Croma employee), others like Games The Shop and Flipkart have constantly seen several problems with regards to the console. These problems range from just straight up being unable to pre-order the console due to technical issues with the website, to a retailer forcing its customers to cancel orders.
