With Sony’s own retailer having announced a fourth wave of restocks for the PS5 in India, knowing how and where potential customers can buy a console has become quite important, especially considering events surrounding the last couple of restocks that have left some a bad taste in customers’ mouths regarding some Indian retailers. Pre-bookings for the PS5 will be kicking off once again on June 23, at 12pm. The PS5 is priced at Rs. 49,990 in India, while the PS5 Digital Edition is priced at Rs. 39,990.

Best Retailer to Pre-Book PS5

Inofrmal polls conducted on the unofficial PS5 Discord channel have revealed Amazon India to be most customers’ retailer of choice when it comes to buying a PS5.

Looking at these polls, along with feedback from IGN India readers, Amazon India seems to have been the least painful experience when it comes to buying a PS5. Retailers like Flipkart and Prepaidgamercard, on the other hand, seem to have offered customers the worst experience, by forcing bundles on to customers or outright cancelling pre-orders mid-delivery.
