PS5 UK restock: Argos PlayStation 5 stock update revealed – Very and Game news

A new PS5 restock has been confirmed for the UK, following a flurry of activity during the first week of November.

With the initial releases now past, a new report suggests that Argos will be launching one of the next major restocks of the month.

A new PlayStation 5 shipment is expected to be arrive later this week and will come with a few limitations.

This includes Argos only providing disc edition PS5 stock, with no digital variants expected to be included.

The new Argos drop is expected to occur between Tuesday, November 9, and Thursday, November 11, 2021.

The good news is that more details will be revealed before the PS5 restock begins, giving gamers more time to prepare.

The news has been shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – which is known for providing the best guides on what’s happening next.

The account confirmed during the weekend that Argos would be offering a shipment of next-gen consoles during November, with Very another possibility, and GAME further out.

The message posted on Twitter by PS5 Stock UK reads: “Argos have been getting in shipments of PS5 consoles last few days. It’s looking like a Disc Edition only restock again, but this isn’t confirmed. More details available soon.

“We don’t usually have Very news however, looking back at Very’s drop history, this week is looking likely. Possibly Tuesday.”

Most major retailers offer at least two shipments each month, with the list including GAME, Currys and Argos.

Smaller retailers known for multiple drops include John Lewis, ShopTo, Scan and ASDA.

Amazon is less predictable but there’s a good chance that the internet giant will offer at least one more restock of PlayStation 5s before the end of the year.

Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles its shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. There are no new dates for when the next PS5 restock will happen.

CURRYS: Currys does not host purely digital restock events and there has been no indication when they might offer more consoles online. The retailer chooses to sell the PlayStation 5 via its brick and mortar stores via a ticketing system. Those interested must sign up on the Currys PS5 page to have the chance of being selected, which will then be followed by waiting until the next shipment of consoles arrives.

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings. Argos is expected to drop new stock between November 9 and November 12.
