PS5 UK stock news: John Lewis PlayStation 5 console restock is next

PS5 stock became available to buy in the UK once again this week. Retailers GAME and Argos both opened orders for the PlayStation 5 once again, and more retailers in the UK are tipped to be taking orders during the remainder of July. ASDA could be opening up orders for the PS5 between now and July 29, with a restock time of between 8am and 11am expected.

While new information has just emerged about the next John Lewis PS5 restock.

According to the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account, John Lewis could be opening orders for the PS5 between July 27 to July 29,

John Lewis is rumoured to be getting just shy of 1,900 PS5 Disc edition consoles to sell.

The PS5 stock tracker posted: “PlayStation 5 (John Lewis) Exclusive News.

“Expected Shipment Arrival: 26/07. Shipment Stock Quantity: 1872.

“Just a heads up, 26/07 is when John Lewis is expecting to receive the console shipment, not when they will go live.

“Drop Expected: 27-29 July”.

The John Lewis PS5 restock should be going live between 7am and 9am BST. The latest PS5 stock updates comes as Sony’s latest console managed to hit a significant sales milestone.

As reported by VGChartz, the PS5 is estimated to have hit the 10million consoles sold sales marker.

The PS5 is estimated to have sold 10million units within 35 weeks.

And this is a doubly impressive achievement, as not has the PS5 managed to hit this landmark quicker than the PS4 (which sold 10million units after 39 weeks) but the PS5 has achieved this despite continuing stock shortages since the console launched last November.

Speaking about these figures, VGChartz’s William D’Angelo posted on Twitter: “It has taken the PS5 35 weeks to sell 10 million units, while it took the PS4 39 weeks to reach the same milestone.

“The Xbox Series X|S should easily surpass 6 million units sold for the week ending July 17 estimates.”
