Battlegrounds Mobile India: Battlegrounds Mobile India in Trouble: On one hand, PUBG fraternity is eagerly waiting for the release of Battlegrounds Mobile India, on the other a big trouble is brewing for the game launch in the country. After a MLA of Arunachal Pradesh, now an Member of Parliament from Telangana has shot off a letter to the IT Ministry & Primer Minister’s Office to investigate the links between Krafton & Tencent.

According to Zee News, in a letter sent to the IT Ministry & PMO, Arvind Dharampuri MP from Nizamabad said that he had received a plea against the game from a local social activist, Sai Kumar. The letter is mainly about the Terms of Service and privacy policy of Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Battlegrounds Mobile India – What exactly Telangana MP is asking for?

Telangana’s MP has sent a letter to Minister of Information Technology where he has expressed his concerns over the Battlegrounds Mobile India ( Indian Rebranded version of PUBG Mobile).

He has request the ministry for an investigation to clear the relationship between Krafton Inc. (Developer and publisher of Battlegrounds Mobile India) and Tencent (Publisher of PUBG Mobile).

It is worth noting that earlier, Arunachal Pradesh Member of Legeslative assembly, Ninong Ering had written a latter to PMO in May. Ering wanted that the game Battlegrounds Mobile India should not be allowed to release in the country. PMO is yet to respond to the letter.

Battlegrounds Mobile India release date – What are the plans to release the game in India, tentative release date?

It is noteworthy that PUBG Mobile, a famous battle royale mobile game got banned by Indian government in 2nd September, 2020. The ban was implanted due to data privacy concerns under Information and Technology Act section 69A. It is almost 9 months and Indian fans are still waiting for game desperately.

In the meanwhile Krafton Inc. recently announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India which is rebranded version of PUBG Mobile to be released in India.

Pre Registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India started on 18th May 2021 which is still going on. According to the some leaks and hints from professional PUBG Mobile players and streamers from India, the game is set to be released in next week ( third week of June 2021).
