PUBG PC India Streamer Invitational Announced

While Krafton is busy bringing Battlegrounds Mobile (BGMI) to the masses with a host of events, it seems that its other battle royale game, PUBG has got a shot in the arm. Monitor giant LG has partnered with the imaginatively named The Esports Club for the equally imaginatively named The Esports Club LG Ultragear PUBG PC Streamer Invitational. Much like The Esports Club’s past efforts with Apex Legends, 16 streamers will vie for a Rs. 300,000 prize pool. This PUBG PC India streamer invitational dates are July 24 and 25.

“We’re always experimenting with different games, formats and IPs,” said The Esports Club co-founder Ishaan Arya to IGN India in a recent interview. “One of the major reasons behind the success of our events is the fact that we’re always looking ahead at how we can do something different or new and identifying games that have a lot of untapped potential within the region.”

This should come as no surprise since The Esports Club also held the nation’s first Warzone invitational. Here’s the list of streamers taking part in this PUBG PC event.
