Seriously a below average movie and for people who have already watched Charlie, it’s just a pain to watch this movie after first 30mins. Seriously Maddy was the show spoiler in this movie. Such a sad and depressing character.

The exasperation in your tone when you said ‘Naan engae poraen, eppo poraennu enakae theriyathu, Kani’ made it believable. Maara is authentic with a granular char sketch. Someone you could meet irl. Charlie was a magic show. Maara lifted the curtain and revealed the tools too.

BollywoodLife in its review wrote, “Dulquer Salman charmed his way into the hearts of millions, and R Madhavan does not falter. With his talent, the actor brings Maara alive with a lot of love. Sadly, R Madhavan hardly has many scenes in the first half of the film.” Maara had Shraddha Srinath as the leading lady along with Moulee and Padmavati Rao in pivotal characters.
