Raul Jimenez injury: Positive update offered on Wolves star after nasty David Luiz clash

Sky Sports say Wolves striker Raul Jimenez is “conscious” and “responding to treatment” after being taken to hospital following a nasty clash of heads with Arsenal’s David Luiz in the first five minutes of their Premier League clash on Sunday.
Jimenez accidentally collided with Luiz while competing for an aerial ball at an early corner and was stretchered off after a 10-minute delay at the Emirates.
The Wolves striker was given oxygen on the pitch having appeared to be knocked out cold and was treated by the club’s medical staff and paramedics.
Arsenal defender Luiz was able to play on until half-time with heavy bandaging to his head though was replaced by Rob Holding at the break after his cut continued to bleed during the match.
The Gunners insist concussion protocols were followed to allow the 33-year-old Brazilian to play on despite the distressing nature of the clash.
